Issue Position
Because everything we care about, like affordable housing, a sustainable environment, clean food, fair taxes, and ending genocide/war is downstream of the will of the criminal Epstein class who are selling our democracy for parts - and are getting away with it.

Jamie has led teams drafting legislation through computational construction (not LLMs), built decision-making models for local governments, modeled civilization-scale policy debate, authored intelligence briefs, designed AI tools, and pioneered an entirely new method called "Scaled Democratic Reasoning."

So after Jamie announced she was running for office as a democratic candidate, she spent several hundred hours writing The MAD Act (The Mass Accountability in Democracy Act).

It takes aim at the tools that the Epstein class has at their disposal to maintain power and ensures our democracy is prepared for AI impact.

There is a lot we need to fix: Make a plan for AI: we can keep the benefits, and stop the harms (read more) Delete the surveillance state (read more) Get more Epstein files from the 70+ entities we missed the first time (read more) Get ICE off our streets (read more) Shine a light on dark money (read more) Enable election reform (read more) And more (Read MAD Act Website and Full Bill Text / Other Titles) With this one bill, we can take our country back , though the bill can also be introduced as individual titles strategically The MAD Act is not “anti-AI,” “anti-security,” or “anti-business,” it is simply pro-responsibility, safety, accountability, and aggressively defends our rights.

This voting bloc doesn’t need to outnumber anyone, they just need to ensure that every bill to earn their vote by truly representing public interest.

Over the past decade, Jamie has worked in "civic/democracy tech," which is the global movement of technologists working to modernize government and make it more transparent, accessible, and effective.
Issue Position
At USC Dornsife's Center for the Political Future , the director personally asked her to build an internship program teaching students the political decision-making models that she invented.
Issue Position
Before working in the “democracy field,” Jamie was COO of an international environmental and humanitarian organization, overseeing projects in over 20 countries.

Jamie’s Social and Community Service International Environmental and Humanitarian Work: Before working in the “democracy field,” Jamie was COO of an international environmental and humanitarian organization, overseeing projects in over 20 countries.
Issue Position
Last year she moved to D.C. to negotiate with DOGE to protect agencies , and was asked to deliver an internal government briefing about the importance of digitizing declassified records.

A government official at NARA wanted to thank Jamie for this advocacy with a private tour of the U.S. Treaties Vault, where she got to view, in person, the Treaty of Paris (which is the document that Benjamin Franklin signed to end the Revolutionary War).
Issue Position
Projects she oversaw included: providing job training to women in Kirkuk, Iraq to enable women to find independence enabling pre-teen girls to attend school in Malawi providing technical education to 5 schools in Kenya funding solar panels distribution programs in subsaharan Africa to curb health impacts of kerosene lamps and many more National Work: During the COVID pandemic, Jamie was the volunteer coordinator of the nation’s largest civilian PPE manufacturing effort, which won an award from the government.

Jamie and Health At one point in her life, Jamie’s greatest accomplishment was being “one of the nicest patients” to her nurses.

For Jamie, having quality healthcare and at-home support should be something that our nation collectively provides to those in need.
Issue Position
When she lived in Orlando during the Pulse Shooting at a gay nightclub, Jamie launched the World Wide Web Peace Project to capture the voices of local Orlandoans’ response to the shooting and their support for the LGBTQ community.
Issue Position
In addition, Jamie aims to map the workflows of Congress and bring technology into offices to ensure staff are able to be more accountable and effective in their work for the American people and this district.

Since her own representative has ignored her repeatedly, Jamie decided to step into the race to challenge the incumbent and offer District 12 voters the choice of her expertise and sterling record of service, arguing that it’s time for tech-native millennials with policy backgrounds to show up for government service before it’s too late.
Issue Position
AI may make it better or worse, so we need a plan .

Jamie has spent years in the AI field, leading projects in autonomous research, fact-checking agents, and AI-powered formal reasoning for evidence-based policy.

Jamie has been mapping the debates about AI for years, but she doesn't just study AI issues - she works with it every day, and she knows we both need to take action now and need to make a plan for the longterm.

The part of the MAD Act dedicated to AI is 160+ pages of serious policy, including: immediate red-line regulations, interim safeguards, hammer provisions, and a mandate forcing the government to build a real plan for AI's impact across 19 domains (from jobs to the environment) with the process to draft evidence-based policy.

Her memberships have included: the Rotary Club, the Society of American Archivists, the American Library Association, the Office of Intellectual Freedom, Nation of Makers, the Freedom to Read Foundation, the Linux Foundation, and the C2PA.

Making a Plan to Address AI Impact We're entering a new era, one defined by AI and technology, and Jamie's mission is simple: make sure a people-centered democracy survives the transition.

Recognition of her work in AI: Jamie has spent years in the AI field, leading projects in autonomous research, fact-checking agents, and AI-powered formal reasoning for evidence-based policy.

Understanding the debate about AI: Jamie has been mapping the debates about AI for years (building databases of papers, public commentary, and government policy), but she doesn't just study AI issues - she works with it every day, and she knows we both need to take action now and need to make a plan for the longterm.

What she is bringing to the table: The part of the MAD Act (which Jamie authored) that is dedicated to AI is 160+ pages of serious policy, including: immediate red-line regulations, interim safeguards, hammer provisions, and a mandate forcing the government to build a real plan for AI's impact across 19 domains (from jobs to the environment) with the process to draft evidence-based policy.

It needs a plan for AI that actually works.
