Ranked-Choice Voting & Top-Four Primary Repeal

Alaska adopted a top-four primary and ranked-choice voting (RCV) system via a 2020 ballot measure. A 2024 repeal effort failed by only 743 votes, and a new citizen-initiated repeal measure is on the November 2026 ballot.
